Drowning in Receipts
I needed a way to track my business expenses without relying on third-party cloud applications. The existing options were either expensive subscription services, bloated with features I'd never use, or simply not intuitive enough for someone who just wanted to get the job done.
Every month, I'd face the same pile of invoices from suppliers, contractor bills, software subscriptions, and travel expenses. The thought of manually typing each one into a spreadsheet or accounting software felt soul-crushing. The cloud-based expense trackers promised to help, but they came with high monthly fees, required me to trust another company with my financial data, and often forced me to navigate through dozens of features I'd never touch.
I didn't need project management integrations, team collaboration tools, or automated workflows. I needed something simple: upload an invoice, extract the details automatically, record it, and move on. That's it.
